"New School FM" from Panama resident G-Tek was originally released on Silk Digital in 2009 as part of the "Majestic" EP, and now it sees the light of day again in a updated and reworked version. Recently G-Tek has showcased his talents on Silk Royal, with radio and live support from the likes of Jaytech, James Grant, and more. In the 2011 Rework of "New School FM", a unique synth array appears fairly soon, as well as a fascinating bassline groove. More energetic layers are added, and numerous sound effects spice up the overall soundscape. The smooth, blissful melodies continue in the break, after which the energy in the track is heightened by various euphoric elements.
Argentinian producer B.O.N.G. was last seen on Silk in December with his remix of PROFF's "I'll Try", and this is his first appearance on Arrival. An interesting arpeggio riff introduces the song, and shortly after a hypnotizing bassline emerges. A gated synth line delivers great melodic substance resulting in an immense atmosphere, and in the break a gorgeous lead is introduced to add even more texture to the track.
Positiva, the duo Vitodito and Soulforge (Italy/USA), finalize this package with their interpretation. An incredibly funky lead establishes the main groove for the song rather quickly, and a mesmerizing vocal stem spices things up even more. A bassline with tremendous rhythm keeps pumping underneath, delivering outstanding power to the atmosphere.
